If you arrived here from the talented blog, Virginia Lu, then you are on the right track. If this is your first stop, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Altenew Card Blog.

Take a look at my planner pages:

Hello Winter

Winter? No way, I’m not ready for it. December 21 seems so far away, but in reality, it’s two months away. Time has been running so fast, that before we know it, Winter will be here.

I know you asking what’s so special about these planner pages? Oh, let’s take a closer look!

Hello Winner planner page

They are embossed!! I added white snowflakes to both pages for the added effect and texture.

The white on white is hard to see, but if you look close, you can see the many snowflakes. Just so you know, I’m begging Mother Nature for no snow this year. I hope my wish comes true.

What is a blog hop without an amazing gift? Yayyy!!!

Prizes:

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 10/16/2019 for a chance to win.

{Clean and Simple} CASology 230 – Cold

Hello everyone and Happy New Year CASology Family!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

week-230-cold

Take a look at my card:

happy-winter-cas

For this week’s cue card I used the snowman and sentiment from the Rubber Dance Stamp Frosty Friends stamp set.  I picked up my Copic Markers again this week.  I actually miss using them so it was fun to play with them for this challenge.

I simple stamped the snowman and the sentiment using the Mini Misti for precision stamping. I love seeing crisp black edges so using the Misti is so important.

I colored the snowman with  BG0000,B000, C4,C6, R37,R39, R89, E37, Y38 and YR68.

Nice and easy!

Take a look at my card:

warm-up-wcmc9

For this challenge, I used one of my favorite stamps sets from Concord and 9th for 2016, Cozy Up!

These warm winter socks are perfect for the winter!!  I love wearing thick comfy socks in December!!  It adds to the holiday feel!!  LOL!!

All I did was stamp the image 4 times using Clearsnap Colorbox Wicked Black Ink and colored it with a limited edition of Caran d’Ache Discovery Set Watercolor Pencil in Cobalt blue and used an ADORNit watercolor brush to spread the color!!

Once the watercolor dried, I used a glue pen and added Ranger Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the top of the socks.

Nice and easy.

What do you think?  Please let know below.

I can’t wait to see how you interpret our challenge theme this month.

Right at Home for the Holidays Ebook Inspired Projects!!

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with a fun company called Right at Home!!  The owner Nicole is awesome!!  In July 2015, she launched her first stamp set, called Happy Mail.

Today, Nicole is launching her first ever E-Book called:

Right at Home for the Holidays”

home-for-the-holidays-ebook-post

Its a totally awesome E-Book!!  E-Book what does that mean?  An E-Book is a digital book that you purchase and its sent to you via email.  A physical version is not sent. You save the file to your computer and print it as many times as you need or you simple read it from your computer!!

Now what is in this E-Book, you ask?  Nicole put together 6 different project ideas with a supply list and instructions on how to create each project!!  This takes all of the guess work out of creating projects this holiday season.  You can create them as you see them in the book or you can put your own spin on them.  Its all up to you!!

Now take a look at one of the tags I re-created with the supplies I had on hand:

Sending Warm Wishes

I created the holiday tag on page 4 of the E-Book. I went with the dies and paper I had in my supply stash!  The hardest part to creating this tag was picking out the colors and papers to us.

The instructions were clear and to the point.

So what do you think of Nicole’s E-book?  Do you need more inspiration? We’ve got you covered.  Check out my fellow crafting friends blog for more inspiration:

So what do you think?  Will you pick up a copy of the E-Book for yourself?  Let me know below!
