Now that summertime is here, eating and drinking outside happens more often. Having super coasters are a way sure to please your guest.

I used the new Altenew Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set to create these coasters.

Here’s how to create these coasters:

Paint each coster in the colors of your choice. Let it dry.

Stamp each sentiment from the Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set in the center of each coster using black ink suitable for wood.

Prep and prepare resin following the instructions in the box.

Pour the resin in the center of each coaster almost to the edge of the circle.

Add some glitter to the leftover resin. Use a popsicle stick and spread the glitter where you want it to be.

Wait 15 minutes then use a heat gun to clear out the air bubbles that will form.

Let each coaster dry overnight.

Christmas – Where Creativity Meets C9

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog Challenge Design Team!! Our challenge this month is Christmas!!

Take a look at my tag:

For this tag, I used Concord & 9th Ornamental Dies. I die cut three red pieces and one white piece.  I used the additional die pieces to emboss the front of one of the red pieces.

Once all of the pieces are cut, put the ornamental tag together using Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.

To finish the tag off, add some glitter to the front of the tag and add sweater ribbon.

Lets take a look inside.

I love how this tag turned out!!  Nice and simple!!

For this challenge, I used one of my favorite stamps sets from Concord and 9th for 2016, Cozy Up!

These warm winter socks are perfect for the winter!!  I love wearing thick comfy socks in December!!  It adds to the holiday feel!!  LOL!!

All I did was stamp the image 4 times using Clearsnap Colorbox Wicked Black Ink and colored it with a limited edition of Caran d’Ache Discovery Set Watercolor Pencil in Cobalt blue and used an ADORNit watercolor brush to spread the color!!

Once the watercolor dried, I used a glue pen and added Ranger Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the top of the socks.

Nice and easy.

CASology 136 – Basket and Giveaway!

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back again with another Cue Card for you!!

So this cue word seems easy, right?  Well not so easy.  I had nothing, nothing in my stash that screamed “Basket”.  I search all of my retired stamps and my new stamps that haven’t been touch yet and I couldn’t find anything with a basket.

Then I remember, the light bulb went off, I received some new stamps for an upcoming release from So Suzy Stamps and guess what stamp was in that package.  Yes, a basket of apples!!  I was super excited.  I’m still in the race with my fellow DT members!!

Take a look at my card:

You're A Good Apple2

Yes, this basket of apples saved the day for me.  To create this card was super easy minus the coloring.

1. I cut my card base to an A2 size card (4.25 x. 5.50). I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather Patten Paper and adhered it to the front of my card base.

2. I used My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX die to cut out a piece of white cardstock.

3. I stamped my image and colored it in with Copic Markers; W4, Y13, Y15, Y19, E31, E33, E35, E37, R22 R24 and N5.

4. I stamped my sentiment from Lawn Fawn Good Teacher stamp set.

5. I adhered the white panel to the front of my card base with foam adhesive.

6. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to my apples and belly ban on my basket.

That was it!  Nice and easy thanks to So Suzy Stamps!!  So since her basket of apples saved the day for me.

I’m doing a giveaway!!!!  Two lucky winners will win a pre-release Basket of Apples stamp!

All you have to do is leave a comment below letting me know which medium you prefer to color with.  You have until Monday, March 9th at 11:59 to leave a comment for a chance to win.

Sparkle and Shine…

Hello everyone!  I’m playing with Addicted to CAS.  I haven’t played with them in such a long time.  I’m glad I’m able to play this week.  I love their code word this week, its DOTS!!

ATCAS - code word dotsWhen I saw that code word, I knew that I had to join.  I just received this beautiful die in the mail that is perfect for this challenge.

Take a look at my card:

Sparkle and Shine

Take a look at all of those dots.  I love how the red glitter paper shines from behind.

This is how this card was created:

1. I cut my card base to an A2 size card, 4.24 x 5.50.

2. I used Memory Box Small Circle Burst die to cut out all of my dots and circle.

3.  I cut a small piece of red glitter paper from American Crafts to go behind the dots and circle.

4. I used my new Simon Says Stamp Sparkle & Shine stamp set to stamp my sentiment with the Mini Distress Embossing Ink from the card kit.

5. I used Liquid Platinum embossing powder on the stamped sentiment.

I have to say I truly love this liquid platinum embossing powder.  It so smooth and pretty.  I am truly impressed.  This is must have in my craft room from now on.
