Here’s the Scoop Gift Card

Concord and 9th

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today showcasing the yet another stamp set from Concord & 9th August Release.

Today it’s all about ice cream with the Here’s The Scoop stamp and die set!!

Let’s take a look:

Here's the Scoop

Isn’t this gift card just the cutest?  I love that the ice cream scoops was big enough to create a mini card.

Here’s how I created this gift card:

  • Stamp the ice cream scoop onto white card stock in black ink.
  • Using Prima Coloring Pencils, color the image the colors of your choice.  I used PC 920 (light green), PC924 (crimson red) and PC 1082 (Chocolate).
  • Use the Here’s the Scoop Die to cut that image out.
  • Cut a second one to create the gift card.
  • Score the second ice cream scoop on the left side and apply adhesive.
  • Adhere the two pieces together pieces together.

Here's the Scoop

  • Slide your card and gift card inside the envelope to send off to the recipient.

Nice, clean and simple.  This mini card was so much fun to make and the possibilities are endless.

What do you think?  I would love to hear what you think?  Please let me know below.

For this week’s cue card I used Kitty Bee Design Sleepy Love Bug digital stamp to create my card.

I colored the image using Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils. I love the way they blend.

Then I stamped the sentiment using a new stamp company called MSE! My Sentiments Exactly Handwritten Sentiments. I received this stamp set at Creativation in my registration bag.

Super simple and easy!

Blending Colors with Gamsol: CS Take It Make it Challenge

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with CS Take It Make It Design Team for our CS Take It Make It: Take a Stamp Challenge for the month of November.

This month’s theme is Take a Stamp!!  That means take any stamp and create something, anything goes!! Now if that isn’t easy, I’m not sure what is!!

Take a look at my card:

merry-christmas-timi

Here is a close up of the gingerbread man:

close-up-timi

This Neat and Tangled Beary Merry stamp set is so cute and I had to use it for this challenge.  This bear is so cute and the fact that he can hold the different objects in the stamp set makes it even better.

I used Prisma Color Pencils to color in the bear and the gingerbread man.  The colors I used were Goldenrod (PC1034), Light Aqua (PC992), Chocolate (PC1082), Warm Gray (PC1050), Cool Gray (PC1059) and Crimson Red (PC924).

I used Gamsol to blend all of the colors out.

Then I used a PenBlade to trim one of the bears hands so that he could hold the gingerbread man.

I lifted the bear’s hand slightly and slide the gingerbread underneath it.  He stayed put.

Nice and easy!

Sooooo, what do you think? Please let me know below.

Prizes:

We have two prizes to offer this month, the first is our sponsor prize. This winner will be chosen randomly from all of the entries in the challenge! The sponsor for November is: The Artistic Stamper!

CASology 188 – Laugh

Second Post for Today
If your looking for the Right At Home March Release Blog Hop, click here

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 188 - Laugh

Take a look at my card:

Laugh (CAS)

When I saw the cue card, I knew I had to use the Mama Elephant Photo Bomb stamp set.  I bought this stamp set when it came out and I never used it.  I wasn’t sure how I would color the image in so I never took it out of the packaging.

I finally took it out because I knew I wanted to use my Tombow Recycle Colored Pencils.  I have to say I have a love affair with these pencils.  They are easy to use and they blend well.

Here is how I created this card:

  1. First I used the Mini Misti to place the stamps exactly were I wanted them to be.
  2. Then I used My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink to stamp the images and sentiment.
  3. Once that was done, I used Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils to color in the images.
  4. To create the highlights in the hair, I used Tombow Sand Eraser to create the highlights.
  5. To finish the card off, I rounded the top two corners.

Nice and easy!!

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
