Rubber Dance Stamp February 2017 Theme Challenge

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with the Rubber Dance Stamp Theme Challenge!!

The theme is “Lots of Layers”! All you have to do is create a piece of work that has a lot of layers.

Check out what I created to inspire you:

I tried to keep my tag pretty simple since that is more my style, but I also wanted to play around with some mixed media.

Are you asking yourself, where are the layers? I was hoping that you would ask.

Here you go:

I add gesso on the top of the tag and let it dry.
Then I blended Distressed Ink Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick and Seedless Preserve.
After that, I used Rubber Dance Stamps Round in Circles stamped paired with StazOn Jet Black Ink to stamp the circles.
Then I used the Rubber Dance Stamps Think Again stamp set to stamp the sentiment with the StazOn Ink.
To finish the tag off, I colored the Crinkle Ribbon with Mustard Seed reinker and added it to the tag.

Thats four layers!!! Yayyy!

{Clean and Simple} CASology – Romance

Hello everyone!!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

For this week’s cue card I used Winnie and Walters From the Bottom of My Heart stamp set that I received as a gift for placing an order with them. Super cute stamp set.

To create this card:

I stamped the heart using Colorbox Pinkolicious Archival Dye Ink in the center of the card base. Nothing to it!!

White space + No embellishments + Easy to replicate = CAS!

Love – Where Creativity Meets C9

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog Challenge Design Team!! Our challenge this month is Love.

I’m telling you I really can’t get enough of these Happy Hues notecards. They add so much to each and everyone of my card designs!! I paired this notecard with the Heartstrings Bundle stamp set and dies.

Here’s how I created this card in two easy steps:

Die cut the front of the card using the heart die cut using the Big Shot.
Use the Mini Misti tool to stamp the sentiment in the center of the heart.

Nice and easy.

Darkroom Door 2017 New Release

Hello everyone!! I’m so excited today!! I’m guest designing for Darkroom Door today using two of their new 2017 release stamp sets! The Hummingbirds and Classic Cars!

When Rachel, the owner of Darkroom Door asked me to guest design, I was over the top excited and said yes so fast, LOL!!! I feel in love with her stamps about a year ago. They are so pretty, big and different.

For this week’s cue card I used one of the new stamp sets from Altenew called Let the Wind Carry You!

To create this card I just placed all of the stamps on the Mini Misti and stamp all of the images at once! That’s all!

I used the envelope punch board to round the bottom left corner.

Super simple and easy!

Rubber Dance Stamp February 2017 Color Challenge

Hello everyone!! I’m here today for the first time as a member of Rubber Dance Stamp Challenge Design Team!! I’m super excited about this opportunity.

I love the colors of this challenge, it surprised me really!

To create this card, I used Rubber Dance Stamp Textured Feathers and Distress Inks Hickory Smoke, Picked Raspberry, and Forest Moss.

I inked up each feather with a different color and used the Mini Misti to stamp them all at one time. Then I used Colorbox Archival Wicked Black Ink to stamp the Rubber Dance Stamp Something Wonderful sentiment.

Super simple and easy!!

Ink Blending – a2z Scrapbooking February 2017 Challenge

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with a a2z Scrapbooking Challenge. The theme this month is Embellishment!!

I blended Distress Ink Abandon Coral, Barn Door, Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry to create different shades of red. Then I stamped the sentiment using Hero Arts Sending Love stamp with Hero Arts Black Ink.

Super, super easy to create.
