Giving Thanks

Hello everyone!  I’m here today with the Less is More Week 179 Challenge.  I haven’t played with them in awhile so I decided to join them with their Earth Tone Color Challenge.

So, you guessed it, it’s the tenth hour and I have to hurry to submit my card.  So, no long talking today.

Giving Thanks for you

Giving Thanks for you close up

I just received my new order from Simon Says Stamp Kelly Purkey’s sale.  I ordered the feathers die and thought it would work well with this challenge.

I die cut the four feathers from Lawn Fawn’s Into the Woods pattern paper.

Then I attached them to each other using a Stampin’ Up! glue dots.

Then I added Stampin’ Up! linen thread to a retired Stampin’ Up! naturals button, tied a bow and adhered it to the top of my feathers.

I stamped my sentiment giving thanks from Simon Says Stamp Giving Thanks Stamp Set with Colorbox Chestnut Roan chalk inkpad.

Nice, clean and simple card with a lot of white space.

What do you think?

Happy Easter…..

Today’s card was made for the Less is More Blog Challenge Week 169 Sketch.  I know, I know Easter was a couple of weeks ago but I didn’t get a chance to create a card for it so I took this opportunity to create one.

It is a very clean and simple card that I really love.  I used a couple of great products to pull of my CAS card.  Stampin’ Up! is retiring the Polka Dot Parade DSP  and the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  That was a big shock to me because that paper is so popular.  It will go fast so if you want that paper and the rhinestone  just click here to purchase it.  I also used Papertrey Ink’s Button Stacks Die.  I love this die, the buttons are so cute.

I used my circle dies to cut perfect circles and laid the DSP behind it.  I colored my bunny with my C3 Cool Grey Copic maker.

It’s funny because I wasn’t sure if I should color the bunny, so I asked my son because my daughter was sleeping, and he honestly gave me his opinion.  For those that know my son, he could care less what I do!!  So thanks E, for the help.

Soooo, what do you think?

Please leave me a comment letting me know what you think of my CAS card!

Addicted to CAS – Wheels

I’m excited about the card I made for the Addicted to CAS challenge today.  The code word for this CAS challenge is WHEELS!!  I have this stamp set from Stampin’ Up! that I have haven’t had the chance to use that has this really nice size bicycle image that is perfect for this challenge.

To keep my card clean and simple, I just stamped the bicycle image and added buttons to the wheels for color.

Take a look:

Wheely Sweet Friend

After stamping the image and the sentiment, the top of the card need something, so I added a few starburts from Mama Elephant stamp set in the same color of the wheels.

I love the look of white on white, it makes the card look so classy. I rounded the corners of the mat for added dimension.

Please tell me what you think of my card.
