Second Post for today
If your looking for the Right At Home post, click here

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 205 - Chevron

Take a look at my card:

Love Ya(CAS)

I’ve been on a stencil kick for the past two weeks.  Its just so easy to use.

I used Simon Says Stamp Zig Zap stencil paired with Clearsnap Colorbox Fun Ink and a dauber to create the design on the top and bottom of this card.

Then I covered the stenciled portion of the card with Clearsnap clear embossing powder.

After that,  I used Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Words to stamp the sentiment in the middle of the card using Versafine Ink.

Nice and easy!

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

For more inspiration, check out my fellow Design Team members blog for more awesome work.

The Crafter’s Box!!

Second Post for today
If your looking for Your Next Stamp Sneak Peek, click here

Hello everyone!!  I’m here with a special and different post for you today.

I want to talk about this subscription service called The Crafter’s Box, that I absolutely love to death.

crafters-box-logo-about-us

I know a lot of people aren’t a fan of subscription services but this one is soooo worth it.

Here is why:

The Crafter’s Box brings talented maker workshops and beautiful material directly to your home so that you can get down to the art of crafting and celebrate the job of handmade.

What does that mean?

Once a month I receive a box of goodies from a talented maker, who will teach me all about their specialized craft.  Yes!! Each month, they curate a box of amazing, unique crafting materials and speciality tools right to my door.

As a member, I also have access to the class with the instruction who teaches me and my daughter how to create that month’s project.

We also get to participate in a once a month live chat with the talented maker.  We are able to ask questions about the project, the materials, and of the maker herself.  The chat allows us as a community to talk to each other about what we love about crafting and how we can help each other further our endeavors.  Totally awesome.

There is also a forum for each month that we participate in for general questions.

The ladies that run this service are amazing and super nice.  They started 6 months ago and I haven’t missed a class yet.

Here are a few of my photos:

This was my first box from The Crafter’s Box.  It was the March box: Chunky Wool from Spain.  We learned how to Arm Knit with Elise Blaha Cripe.  One for me and one for my daughter.

My second box is was the April Box and this was all about Block Printing with Erin Dollar.

I haven’t completed my project yet because I don’t have a table to place this runner and I don’t want to do it and then put it down.  I might give this one as a gift.  As soon as I do it I will post my finish project.

The Crafter's Box

My third box was the May box and this was all bout Leather Clutches with Miranda Anderson!!  I have to say this was my favorite one so far.  I love them all but this clutch is amazing in person.

The Crafter's Box

Here is my clutch making process!

Here is my completed clutch that I take everywhere with me.

The Crafter's Box

My fourth box is the June box and we are learning how to make a Macrame Lantern with Emily Kutz.

I’m working on this project today.  I will post as soon as its done.

The Crafter's Box

My July box is on its way and its all about Batik Wax Resist Wall Hangings with Rachel Denbow.

I can’t wait to try this.

Now tell me where would you learn how to do all of these things?  This is why I love The Crafter’s Box.  They have exposed me to different crafts that I would not have been expose to otherwise.

I encourage you to check them out.  Browse their websiteInstagram feed and Facebook page for yourself to see what I’m talking about.

They are having a Pop-up Shop today so you can check out all of these workshops and products.  The price today is a little higher then the regular month membership.  Listen to this podcast for more info.

The Crafter's Box

I highly recommend this crafting community to you, hands down.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

I hope to see you their!!

Second Post for today
If your looking for CS Take It Make It Challenge post, click here

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with a new a2z Scrapbooking Challenge. The theme this month is Anything Goes!! Such a easy and fun challenge, since you decide what your project will look like.

Take a look at the card I created:

Hello Friend (a2z)

There was nothing to creating this card.  It was pretty straight forward.

I used Hero Arts Floral Pattern Stencil to create a partial pattern on the card front with Hero Arts Lilac to Grape Purple Ombre Ink and some sponge daubers.

Then I used Hero Arts Memories Black Dye Ink and stamped the different sentiments from Hero Arts Lia Griffith Friends by Lia stamp set.

I used We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to round some of the corners on both cards.

Nice and easy.

What do you think?

I hope you love what you see and that it inspires you to join us this month. You have the entire month to create a new project and enter it into our challenge. By entering you will have a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the a2z Scrapbooking Store. Winner will be announced on the 7th of July.  Good Luck!

This month’s theme is Take a Stamp!!  That means take any stamp and create something, anything goes!! Now if that isn’t easy, I’m not sure what is!!

Take a look at my card:

Hello Friend (TIMI)

I absolutely love this Mama Elephant Hello Friend Wishes stamp set!! The font is so pretty!!  Its the perfect sentiment that looks amazing all by itself.

I decided to create a shaker card!!  You know how much I love shaker cards.

Here is how I created this card:

  1.  Blend Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Salty Ocean on a piece of card stock.
  2. Then stamp the Mama Elephant Hello Friend sentiment with Versamark Ink.
  3. Cover the stamped image with Colorbox White Embossing Powder and heat set.
  4. Cut the frame out of black heavyweight cardstock using Mama Elephant Framed Tags – Park Avenue – Creative Cuts.
  5. Using the We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool, the We Re Memory Keepers Photo Sleeves and the Mama Elephant die to create the shaker pocket.  For the full tutorial, check out his post.
  6. Before sealing the shaker pocket fill it with Little Things Crystal Sparkly from Lucy’s Cards.
