Design Team Challenge Blog Hop

Hello everyone!! Happy Leap Year!! Are you excited about the extra day of the year.

Do you know what a leap year is?

A leap year, where an extra day is added to the end of February every four years, is down to the solar system’s disparity with the Gregorian calendar.

I just learned that watching a TV show. All I knew was we had an extra day every four years in February. LOL!!

Well to your luck, the So Suzy Stamps Design Team is taking advantage of this day and having a fun Blog Hop. If you arrived from So Suzy Stamps blog, your on the right track. If you arrived here on your own, you will want to go back to the beginning as to not miss a thing!!

The projects made for this hop are a big secret between the design team. Now of us know what stamps we are working with. Super fun. So the big reveal is for everyone.

I was sent two sentiment stamps! I think these stamps were chosen for me because in April I turn the BIG 40!!!

I’m excited about turning 40! Its a big year for me and I plan on doing big things. When I think of 40 I definitely think of Sexy! Not just in body shape but in my mind as well. I’ve grown so much and I’ve learned so much in the last 39 years that I am ready to hit the ground running.

Did you know that watercoloring can be sexy too! LOL!! When you add the silver foil corset on top, boy o’ boy!!

Here’s a closer look:

Foiling has become one of my favorite crafting thing to do. I love how it turns out each and every time.

The company that made this corset die went out of business a last year so this die isn’t available any more.

SO Suzy Stamps: Mini Notebook

Hello everyone!! Kymona signing in late today!! Please forgive me. I’m on So Suzy Stamps blog today. I was going to boycott all of my work today but Suzy wiped me into shape!! LOL!

Its snowing here in NY and I HATE it!! Its cold and I hate driving in it! I will admit its pretty to look at and thats all!!n LOL!!

Right, its pretty to look at but moving that stuff dreadful!! Back breaking, LOL!! Ok, ok no more snow bashing since some of you might really like it. I do not want any hate mail from my snow bashing!!

I here today with a quick little project that is sure to please. Keeping up with our “costal theme” this month, I create this mini notebook using So Suzy Stamp Surf Shack and some Therm-o-web Gold Foil!!

Isn’t this mini notebook the cutest!! This notebook is for my coworker, she loves to write down the names and titles of books that she reads each year. I gave her one two years ago and she is almost finish so this one is for her.

I’m Sorry…

Warm Holiday Wishes – So Suzy Stamps

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with So Suzy Stamps!! I decided to create a tag using one of Suzy’s new stamps.

Warm Wishes Gift tag 2

I’m sending this gift to a really cool crafty friend. Inside is a super cute mug, so I found it fitting to use So Suzy Stamp Snowman cup for my tag.

I stamped my image, used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut the image out and then I used my Copic markers to color the image in. The colors are R39, E07, B12, B14, B37, B000.

I packaged my mug and wrapped my box with that pretty ribbon. I added my tag behind the bow.

Super easy to do. One box down, two more to go!!!

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the So Suzy Stamps Design Team. As a special thank you to everyone who has been on the team, followed our blog and made new friends, we are doing a Friendship Blog Hop with some of our past and present Design Team members.

I wanted to say thank you to Suzy for staking me on Instagram, that is how we met if you didn’t know. Once we started talking, there was no stopping. I don’t think she knew I was in my car, parked and ready to catch my train but waited so we could finish our conversation. I can’t believe its been a year!!

I also wanted to say thank you to all of my teammates!! All of you have been super doper awesome to work with. I love this team, stress-free and fun as hell!!

I just love these gift cards from Starbucks. They are such a great source of inspiration for me. It screamed So Suzy card!! LOL!!

Here is how I created this card:

I used Create a Smile snowflake stencil and I used Versamark ink and stamped on top of the stencil.
Then I sprinkled Hero Arts White Embossing powder on top and heat set the snowflakes.
I allowed the paper to cool down, then I stamped the Thank you So Suzy Stamp with Versamark ink and sprinkled Hero Arts Liquid Platinum Embossing and heat set it.

Super simple and easy to replicate.

Thank you Post cards

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with So Suzy Stamps!!

I’m currently on a couple college tours with my kids. Yes, I have a 17 year old son who will graduate in June and I still can’ believe it.

We are currently walking on campus so let me jump in so that I don’t walk into trees while typing my post, LOL!!

Our challenge this month is all about Thanksgiving/Fall so I thought it was fitting to create thank you postcards to send those that we are thankful for.
