Take a look at my handmade stamped fabric pouch:

Daisy Fields

OMG, I’m so tickled by this cute little bag that I created! This was fun to make. Combining my love of stamping and sewing is beyond fun.

Let’s look at how I created this fabric pouch:

I stamped the new Daisy Fields image on to a piece of canvas cotton fabric using VersaCraft fabric ink.

Since the stamp is pretty big and I wanted to ensure complete coverage so I used the Memory MISTI.

Then I painted a couple of flowers using DecoArt Paint for Fashion Accessories.

Once I finished painting the flowers, it was time to sew the bag together.

It came together nicely.

Let’s look at the completed bag again:

The Ton Washi Tape Release

Welcome to the debut of The Tons newest product!! The Ton is celebrating their first washi tape release with two new washi tapes, Pink Peonies and Wildflowers!!

There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton’s Stamps’ blog for more details.

Take a look at my new traveler’s notebooks:

Pink Peonies Washi Tape

Tell me these aren’t the cutest notebooks you’ve seen in a long time. That washi tape looks fabulous as a cover. Very subtle but striking.

Here’s how I created these notebooks:

Cut, score and punch holes in the kraft cardstock to the 9 x 4.5.

Peel the washi tape out enough to cover the front of the cardstock.

pink peonies washi tape

Once the front is on, wrap the tape around the back, covering the entire back side.

pink peonies washi tape

Nothing to it. I created three notebooks that fill fit inside my traveler’s journal cover.

To decorate the front, I added a wax seal that says, “Oh, hey”. I used rose gold wax to match the gold in the washi tape.

I also added some journaling cards to the inside.

Let’s take another look:

The Ton’s 4th Anniversary Blog Hop – Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of The Ton’s 4th Anniversary blog hop! The Ton is celebrating 4 years this month and Effie has introduced 9 new designs for this release. There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton Stamps’ blog for more details.

Take a look at my new inspirational notepad:

Hustle and Grind

I totally love, love this stamp set! 2019 is going to be a great year for me and this stamp set called Hustle and Grind is full of amazing sentiments to really get me in gear.

Here’s how I created this notepad:

Use photoshop to create a lined template.

Print out 25 sheets to create a 50 page notepad.

Use We R Memory Keepers Dial Trimmer to perforate each page at the top.

Hustle and Grind

Cut each page in half using the same tool.

Now its time to stamp the sentiments on the top and bottom of each page using the MISTI.

Once that is done, cut and trim a black piece of black cardstock to 5.5 x 9.5, scoring at 8.5 and 8-5/8.

Place the line papers under the folded score lines to line everything up.

Use We R Memory Keepers Power Punch to punch holes through all of the layers.

To really jazz up the notepad, use Dritz jean buttons to secure all of the layers.

Hustle and Grind

Fantastic right!! That is what I said after I finish making it.

Let’s take another look:

Hustle and Grind

I can’t wait to use this notepad at my desk at work. Motivation for me everyday.

So what do you think? Another great release and Happy 4th Anniversary on January 15!

Prize:

There are also giveaways everyday on these mini hops! Win a stamp of choice from The Ton’s new release. To enter, leave a comment on each blog each day. The Ton 3rd Anniversary Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!!  The Ton 3rd Anniversary Release Blog Hop is underway and it’s amazing. I made it back from Creativation just in time to participate in the hop so I’m excited.

If you arrived here from The Ton blog then you are on the right track.  If you arrived here on your own, you will want to start at the beginning, The Ton blog, as to not miss any of the amazing projects!

The Ton released 22 new stamps for their 3rd Anniversary which includes up to two free gifts with purchase (Daisy Duet and Peony Notes Bundle A+B+C). For more information on The Ton’s incentive gifts, head over to the The Ton’s blog.  All new release products are available now!!

Lets jump in:

Card One:

City Building

The inspiration for this card came from an artist I met at Creativation on Monday.  His use of colors and water was amazing on a large background stamp.

So, for my first card I used the City Buildings Cling Background stamp to create a subtle multicolor background topped with a sentiment from the Seriously Amazing stamp set.

City Building

For the sentiment to pop off of the card, black embossing powder was added on top and heat set. Add a couple of gumdrops to finish the card off.

Card two:

XOXO

For my second card, I used the XOXO Mini stamp set to create a clean and simple Valentine’s Day card.

Use 4 different distress ink colors to create the pink ombre look.  Once thats done, stamp both sentiments using the MISTI and black ink.  Make sure the sentiment is dry, then stamp the sentiment again using Versamark ink.  Add black embossing powder and heat set the sentiment.

City Building

Add a couple of gumdrops to finish the card off.

So what do you think?  Are you loving The Ton’s new release?  I would love to hear what you think.

Now what’s a blog hop without a giveaway!!

The Ton’s Fall 2016 Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!!  I’m excited today. I was asked again to participate in The Ton’s Fall 2016 Release Blog Hop!! Yayyyy!!

the-ton

If you arrived here from the talented Janette blog then you are on the right track.  If you arrived here on your own, you will want to start at the beginning, The Ton blog, as to not miss any of the amazing projects!

The Ton has 23 new stamps for their Fall 2016 Release (18 clear stamps, 5 rubber cling) which include the Christmas Poinsettia set – a mini 2×3 stamp set which will be included in all orders over $100 (before shipping and taxes).  All new release products (stamps, gilding) are available now!

Lets jump in:

For my first card I used the Holiday Border Background stamp and I love it.  Such a pretty border stamp and the possibilities are endless.

holiday-wishes-black

I used red embossing power but it didn’t show up red because of the black cardstock. The white specs represents falling snow, in a very subtle way.

holiday-wishes-white

I created two cards to show off how the stamp looks on white and black cardstock.  Totally beautiful.

For my second card I used the Mistletoe Kisses sentiment stamp set.  Super cute sentiments that you can use on any Christmas cards.

merry-and-bright

Watercoloring is my favorite medium and I wanted to showcase the sentiment by creating a non-traditional Christmas card.

This sentiment is so fitting for the watercolored background.

The Ton’s Summer 2016 Release Blog Hop

Second post for today

Hello everyone!!!  I’m excited today. I was asked again to participate in The Ton’s Summer 2016 Release Blog Hop!! Yayyyy!!

the ton

If you arrived here from the talented Keeway blog then you are on the right track.  If you arrived here on your own, you will want to start at the beginning, The Ton blog, as to not miss any of the amazing projects!

Lets jump in:

For my first card: I used the The Ton Graceful Rose stamp set and I have to tell you this stamp is so pretty!!  The rose is so life like!!  When I first saw that stamp set and was deciding what I wanted to do, it came to me to leave the rose as is and color my background.  That’s what I did.

Beautiful (The Ton)

I simple stamped the image and then added some Masking Fluid to keep my flower nice and white. I was so excited to use this fluid because I’ve had it and never used it.

Adding masking fluid

Here is happens when you don’t wait for the masking fluid dry.  I thought I waited long enough but apparently not.  So I had to start all over.

Mistake

I fuss cut out the rose and created my own mask as to not make a mistake again.

cutting out image

Once the mask was down on my cardstock, I used Distress Ink Abandon Coral, Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry to color the background around the flower.

I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Ink.

Totally beautiful!!

Beautiful (The Ton)

For card number 2: I used The Ton Sparklers Alpha stamp set!!

Hi (The Ton)

I love when alpha stamps are so nicely place on their storage sheet.  They are super easy to stamp right on your cardstock.

This stamp set has sprinkles and a heart in the right places. I moved the x,y, z over a bit but that’s it.

I inked up the letters with Versamark ink and turned my card panel upside down onto the stamp.

I added white embossing powder then I heat set the letters.

Then I started with the lightest color in the center blending out to the darker color on the outsides.

I used a glitter sun frame from Crate Paper to highlight the word HI!

I adhered this card panel to a black card base to finish this card off!

Finished!!  What do you think?  I love both cards using both of these stamp sets.  Such a great way to bring in the Summer!! Full of color!!!

Let me know what you think below!!  I would love to hear from you.

The Ton Spring 2016 Blog Hop

Second Post for today
If your looking for CS Take It Make It Inspiration Post, click here

Hello everyone!!  I’m super excited today.  I was asked to participate in The Ton’s Spring 2016 Release Blog Hop!!!  Yayyyyyy!!

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 7.04.16 AM

I was totally siked when Effie reached out to me and asked if I would like to hop along with her team.  I jumped at the opportunity to work with her fabulous team.

Enough about my excitement, lets get started on this hop!! If you arrived here from the talented Eunji blog then you are on the right track.  If you arrived here on your own, you will want to start at the beginning, The Ton blog, as to not miss any of the amazing projects!

I’ve created two cards for this awesome hop.

Card Number One:

Happy Birthday (ton outside)

When I first saw this Bokeh Burs Star stamp set, I fell in love.  Such a pretty stamp set with so many things that you can do with it.

I knew it would look super pretty embossed with some distress inks blended on top.

Here is how this card was created:

  1. Stamp the image using Versamark ink in the center of the Recollection White Heavyweight cardstock.
  2. Apply Hero Arts White Embossing Powder on top of the stamp image and heat set. This will resist the ink that will be added on top.
  3. Lay your card flat on your table and start applying your first distress ink Mustard Seed.  Tap off before you apply your first coating of ink.
  4. Then blend the next color, Spiced Marmalade, to create a pretty blend between the two colors.
  5. Next blend the last color, Festive Berries, to create a contrast between the other colors.  Together all three of them are amazing.
  6. Make sure you cover all of the white embossing powder with the distress ink so that everything pops.
  7. Now you can stamp the sentiment in the center of the star using Versafine Ink for a clear, crisp impression.
  8. To finish the front of the card off, add several Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequin randomly.

I hardly ever stamp the inside of my cards.  I decided that this card would totally rock, with a sentiment on the inside.

Happy Birthday (ton inside)

Use Versafine ink again to stamp the sentiment for a crisp, clear impression.

What do you think?  Isn’t this set fabulous!! I think so!!

Card Number Two:

hello (ton)

Isn’t this just fabulous!!  This stamp set is called Brushed Hello.  I love everything about this card.  From the background to the “HELLO” sentiment. Everything about this card screams BOLD!!!  I love it.

Here is how to create this card:

  1. Tape down the Clarity Stencil to the cardstock so that it lays flush over the paper.
  2. Select two-three colors to blend.  The colors used above Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon.
  3. Use the Clarity Stencil Brushes to blend the colors over the stencil.
  4. Check out the video below on how I achieved that look. Its a 5 minute video from start to finish in real time.

  1. Trim the blended cardstock down to the desired size.
  2. Stamp the Hello sentiment from the Brushed Hello stamp set using Versafine Black Ink. Then stamp another sentiment if you like.
  3. Add rhinestones to finish the card front off.
  4. Adhere the card front to your cardbase using Tombow Stamp Runner Adhesive.

Finished!!  What do you think?  I love both cards using both of these stamp sets.  Such a great way to bring in Spring!!

Let me know what you think below!!  I would love to hear from you.

Your next stop on this hop is the super talented Mayline!!  You will want to see what she has come up with.
