Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

week-217-cute

Take a look at my card:

you-rock-cas

Our sponsor this week has the cuties digital images in her store.  I’m using the Heart Strings Raccoon and the Panda Cutie Digital Stamp on my cards.

To spice up my card, I used Penny Black Well Done dies to add a sentiment to the cards.  Then I used Copic Marker R46 to add red to the hearts and nose.

Adding a pop of color keeps my cards super clean and simple.

I couldn’t create just one card:

well-done-cas

Nice and easy.

{Clean and Simple} CASology 216 – Frame

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

week-216-frame

Take a look at my card:

hello-fall-cas

What a fun cue card!!  There are so many ways to interpret this cue card.  I wanted to take the word for what it was.

I used My Favorite Things Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window to dry emboss the frame on the front of the card using Spellbinders Embossing Mat with the Big Shot.

Then I stamped the pumpkin and sentiment from the new Right At Home Grateful Heart stamp set in the center of the frame using Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Wick ink.

After that, I watercolored the the pumpkin with Distress Ink Carved Pumpkin and Mowed Lawn.

I added a little bit of splatter for interest.

Lets take a closer look:

Nice and easy.

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

week-215-bark

Take a look at my card:

charming-friend-cas

When I first saw the cue card, I thought of a tree bark right away.  So I pulled out my very first stamp set from Darkroom Door, Fine Flowers.  I figured the stem of this sunflower works just fine.

Check out the definition:

The tough, protective outer sheath of the trunk, branches, and twigs of a tree or woody shrub.
I think my flower makes the cut!
To create it this card:
I stamped the flower from Darkroom Door and the sentiment from My Favorite Things using Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Dye Ink.
Then I colored the flower using Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils.

Is Mint Your Color?

Hello everyone!!  Is Mint Your Color?

I’m asking because I see so many different crafty related things and they come in the color mint, which is so pretty!!

So I decided to create a card using the color mint!

Take a look:

Be Thoughtful

I used Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Wicked Black Dye Ink, Clearsnap Pigment Ink by Teresa Collins, and Clearsnap Jumbo Design Fun Flourish Wheel to create the beautiful mint background.

Then I used Concord & 9th Being Classy stamp set to stamp the sentiment.

Simple but so elegant!!

So here is my contribution to all things mint!!

{Clean and Simple} CASology 207 – Rough

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 207 - Rough

Take a look at my card:

Life story (CAS)

This week’s cue card is Rough!!  I have to admit I was having a hard time with this word.  How do I make a card that is CAS but still rough.  I decided to use an embellishment as my focal point.

So what does my card say about the cue card?  Well, the circles were created with Peony Pink Nuvo Mousse and Clarity Stencil Jo’s Bubbles  I purposely created the circle rough, so that you can see the cue card for yourself.  Then I wonder what sentiment should I use with these rough circles.

I decided to go with Papertrey Ink’s Wet Paint II to stamp the  Life story because life can be rough at times.  Its someone’s story.   At times its mine!!

Creating this card was simple:

I spread the mousse over the circle stencil roughly so that some portions of the circles wouldn’t be smooth.

Then I stamped the sentiment using the Mini Misti.

Nice, simple and still CAS!

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

{Clean and Simple} CASology 206 – Art

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 206 - Art

Take a look at my card:

Follow Your Art (CAS)

I’m participating in Kathy’s coloring challenge but this time I’m playing with colors not just coloring.  I want to really learn how colors work so I will work with watercolors for much of the time to see how different colors react with one another.

This cue card is perfect for that!  I’m working with Rubber Dance Stamps who happens to be our sponsor this week!!

The stamp set that I’m using is called Artist Plate!  Its perfect for this week’s cue card!

I stamped the set of paintbrushes using Colorbox Archival Wicked Black Ink and the sentiment using Clearsnap Colorbox Bluebells.

I used Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolor to add color to paintbrushes.  I used Scarlet Lake, Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Yellow, Sap Green, and French Ultramarine.

Super simple and easy.

I made more then one card.

Follow Your Art

This week’s cue card:

Week 205 - Chevron

Take a look at my card:

Love Ya(CAS)

I’ve been on a stencil kick for the past two weeks.  Its just so easy to use.

I used Simon Says Stamp Zig Zap stencil paired with Clearsnap Colorbox Fun Ink and a dauber to create the design on the top and bottom of this card.

Then I covered the stenciled portion of the card with Clearsnap clear embossing powder.

After that,  I used Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Words to stamp the sentiment in the middle of the card using Versafine Ink.

Nice and easy!

{Clean and Simple} CASology 203 – Congratulations

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 203 - Congratulations

Take a look at my card:

Congratulation ink splatters

I plan on having fun with this cue card this week.  My son’s big day is this Saturday and he has inspired me!  He is such a great son.  He has stayed focused to the very end.  Good grades and dominate in all the sports he played.  He walks away from high school as an All County Football Player, an All County Lacrosse Player and an All Conference Basketball Player.

INSPIRING right!!

This card is for him!

I used STAMPlorations Art Marks Stamp Set, who happens to be our sponsor  this week, to create this card.

Here’s how:

  1. I stamp the different ink splatters and the stars with Versafine ink.
  2. Then I stamped the sentiment using So Suzy Stamp Plum Passion Ink Bite.
  3. To finish the card off I rounded the top corners using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch board.

Nice and easy!

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

{Clean and Simple } CASology 202 – Masculine

Hello everyone!!  It’s CASology Tuesday!!  We are back with another Clean and Simple Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card:

Week 202 - Masculine

Take a look at my card:

Happy Father's Day (CAS)

This card could be more easier to make!!  Truly it only required one stamp sentiment, a die and a scrap piece of paper.

I simply used Lil’inker Designs Dad Die cut to cut a scrap piece of pattern paper three times.

I glued the three pieces together with glue and adhered it to the white cardstock.

Then I used my Mini Misti to stamp the Simon Says Stamp Dude sentiment using Versafine ink.

Super easy, clean and simple!!

What do you think?  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
