YNS Supplies:Your Next Stamps Phoebe with her Wagon Stamp SetYour Next Stamp Phoebe with her Wagon Die Set,Crystal Clear Gumdrops

Other Supplies:Pink Fresh Studio Happy Things Pattern Paper, Copic Markers, Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Square Stackables, 3M Foam Tape,

I must say I love this card!!  The colors, the little dog, the wagon, the sentiment and the bow! It all just seems to fit so nicely.

I thought about cutting the pattern paper in have to leave a little white like the sketch but I didn’t like the way it looked so I used the bow as a separation piece.  I hope that works.

For this card:

All I did was add a piece of Pink Fresh Studio Happy Things Pattern Paper and add it to my card front.

Then I added a bow out of some white ribbon.

After that, I used Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Squares Stackables to die cut my white square panel.

I used Your Next Stamps Phoebe with her Wagon Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment, the little dog and the wagon.

Then I used Your Next Stamp Phoebe with her Wagon Die Set to die cut the wagon and the dog.

I colored the dog with Copic Marker E23, E25 and E27 and the wagon with R35 and R37.

Then I added the wagon and the dog to the square panel using foam tape.

To finish off the card, I added Crystal Clear Gumdrops behind the white square panel.

Nice and easy.  Did you notice that I used the wagon handle as the panel you see in the sketch.  I thought that was clever. Do you?

So what do you think? Let me know below!

So are you ready for the new challenge?

You have until September 17th at midnight EST to play along and submit your project on the YNS Blog post.  One random participant will win a $15 gift certificate to the Your Next Stamp Store.  If YNS stamps or dies are the focal point then the winner receives and additional $5 gift certificate fro a total of $20.  The winner will be announced on the YNS Blog the Sunday after the challenge closes.

Top Dog Dies – Balloon Sneak Peek

Hey everyone!!!  Its Top Dog Dies Wednesday!!  I’m here with a sneak peek of Top Dog Dies Balloon Die Set!!

This set is super cute and versatile.  This set, along with 4 other die sets will go live August 4!!  Your going to love the new dies, trust me!! Plus I’ll have a giveaway on the release date!!

So stay tune!

Now on to my card:

Go and Celebrate (TDD)

The Balloon Die Set comes with 6 balloon dies ranging from small to big!!

I used the largest die to create this card.  Super easy to use and check out that stitching!!  It gives the balloon such a nice finished look.

To create these cards, I just die cut the balloon adhered them to the top left portion of the card.  I used Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Bakers Twine.  I used Mama Elephant Make A Wish Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment using Lawn Fawn Deep Sea Ink.  I added Clear Wink of Stella to the sentiment and the stars.

Check these out:

Lets Party Celebrate (TDD)

I used some glitter paper to create these balloons.  I love how they turned out.

To create these cards, I just die cut the balloon adhered them to the top left portion of the card.  I used my Copic Multiliner to draw the strings.  I used Simon Says Stamp Birthday Big Wishes Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment using My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.

Now you see those two stars in between my sentiment?  Well, I had to add those because some of the black ink caught my paper on the pink balloon while I was stamping it.  I think I saved it pretty well. I used Lucy Adams Star Shine Sparkly Sequin to save the day.

So what do you think?  Let me know below.

I can’t wait for you to see the full reveal!!  You are going to love this die set!

Top Dog Dies – Just for you

Hello everyone!!  Its Top Dog Die Wednesday!!  I’m here with a die technique that I learned in my new Online Card Class called Stretch Your Dies!!

Carissa Wiley taught us how to create a window card using a die-cut opening!!  I was super excited when I saw that technique.

I went with Top Dog Dies Decorated Eggs Die Set to create my card today!

TC095-DTake a look at my card:

Just for you (TDD)

How cute is that!!  I used the solid egg die to create that window.

Take a closer look:

Just for you 4 (TDD)

I partial die cut on that egg so that the egg would be a door to my sentiment inside the card.

Here is how I created this card:

1. I cute a strip of Lawn Fawn Let’s Polka, Mon Amie patten paper and adhered it to the front of my card front.

2. I placed the die to the right side of the card front.

That’s when I remembered I wasn’t going to be able to partial die cut the egg because my cutting plate was too big and my card could fold or the die cut would go through the whole card.

So I cute my card in half.  Once I’m done cutting my die I will adhere the card panel to the front of a new card front to stay with a one layer card.

3. Before attaching the card panel to my card front, I die cut the egg on my card front so that the card panel matches the card base.

4. I used Papertry Ink  Swoosh Stamp set to stamp my sentiment inside the egg and Technique Tuesday Smile Borders to stamp my sentiment on the strip of pattern paper using Memento Tuexdo Black Ink.

5. I added Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear 4mm sequins  and 6mm sequins to added interest.

Just for you 2 (TDD)

Just for you 3 (TDD)

So what do you think?  Are you fascinated as much as I was.  Never thought to use my dies in this manner.  This is why I love learning!!
