CASology 182 – Adore

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is:

Week 182 - Adore

When I saw the cue card and who the sponsor was, I knew I had the perfect stamp set for this challenge!!

To create this card, I stamped the sentiment and two hearts from Concord & 9th Love You. Mean It., using Versafine Black ink. Then I cut the front card panel down by 1.5 inches. I then added a stripe of pattern paper behind that front panel. I added some glossy accents to the two hearts for an added pop! Nice and easy!!

I created another card but thought it was way to simple. I like this one!! I used the circle stamp this time!

Your Next Stamp DT Dare – Something Old, Something New

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with Your Next Stamp and our DT Dare!!!

What is a DT Dare you ask? It’s a fun monthly challenge for the YNS design team to show case more fabulous projects using the new release products!!

The DT Dare Challenge this month is Something Old, Something New!! The design team was asked to create a project using one of the new stamp sets from the January release.

Take a look at my card:

Hi there (YNS)

YNS Supplies: Puppy Love, Crystal Clear Gumdrops

Other supplies: Retired Stampin’ Up! DSP, Retired Stampin’ Up! Photo Frame Die, Recollections White Card stock, Stampin’ Up! Real Red Ink, Versafine Black Ink, 3M Foam Tape

Can you guess what’s old and what’s new?

For old, if you guessed, the DSP and the Photo Frame Die you are right! Leaving the Puppy Love Stamp Set as the new item!

For this card, I stamped the heart randomly on the white card stock using the real red ink. Then I cut a piece of the DSP a little smaller then the card base and adhered it to the card base with 3M foam tape. After that I cut another piece of the DSP even smaller then the first one and attached that with foam tape. I stamped the heart and the sentiment using the real red ink and the Versamark ink. After that I adhered the frame and gumdrops.

There are plenty of steps but they are doable.

Tip: Stamp your image and sentiment before you adhere the DSP to the card front.

CASology 179 – Simple

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Week 179 - Simple

Sweetheart (CAS)

I love this cue card!! Simple is so easy, or at least it should be. The more you think about something simple the easiest it is to make this more complicated. LOL!!

I had so many thought in my head and decided to go with the stamp set I was already working with. Its the new stamp set from Right At Home Kiss Kiss!!

As a matter of fact, we are doing a blog hop today, so you can see this set used in different ways here.

To create this card:

I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Heart College Die to cut out the stitched hearts in the center of my paper.
I mounted the card panel to the black card base.
Then I die cut the hearts a second time out of Real Red card stock.
I placed them in the white card panel, popping some of them up with 3M foam tape.
Then I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black ink.
I added Clear Wink of Stella to all of the hearts.

Nice and simple!! The hearts look like they are beating sort of! LOL!!

Home Is Where the Heart Is Blog Hop // Right at Home January Release!!

Hello everyone!! I’m excited to be here with you today to share some amazing projects created for the Home is Where the Heart is Blog Hop!! This is the design team first blog hop so you know we are full of delight.

So without further ado, here are the cards I created for all of you:

Love you This card was created with the Kiss Kiss stamp set!!

Here’s how I created this card:

The card base is a standard A2 card size (4.25 by 5.5 scored at 4.25).
The card panel was cut to 4 by 5.25.
First the card panel was embossed using We R Memory Keepers Next Level Embossing Dotted Folders.
Then the card panel was adhered to the card base using Plus adhesive.
After that I stamped a couple of hearts, used the Brother Scan and Cut to cut them out and then colored them.

Once the hearts dried, I stamped the small sentiments in the middle of each heart.
Then the sentiment was also stamped and then cut out using the Brother Scan and Cut.
The sentiment was adhered first using 3m foam tape. I double the tape so that it stands higher then the hearts.
Once the sentiment was in place, it was easy to place the hearts behind it.
A few rhinestones were added and Clear Wink of Stella to finish the card off.

Super cool card for valentines day. The person receiving this card would totally feel love!!

I love how this card turned out!! Shakers cards are my favorite, so how could I not create one for this hope!!

I have to say, I love how this card turned out. I’m excited about this one.

Here is how I created it:

The card base was cut to a standard size A2 card.
The retired Stampin’ Up! DSP is the first card panel that was cut to the same size as the card base 4.25 by 5.50. It was adhered to the card base with Plus tape.
The outer card panel was cut to 3.25 by 5.50.
I stamped the sentiment from the Kiss Kiss stamp set using Versafine Black Ink.
Then I embossed the card panel with the retired Stampin’ Up! Polka Dots embossing folder.
I used My Favorite Things Die-namics Pierced Heart STAX to cut out a heart in the front card panel and then to cut a separate heart out of black cardstock.
I created a heart shaker pocket to go behind the die card card panel. To see how I created the shaker pocket check out this post. I used the exclusive RAH and Pretty Pink Posh XOXO sequin mix for the shaker pocket.
Before adding the shaker pocket, I adhered the black die cut onto the card base right where the shaker pocket will be.
I adhered the shaker pocket to the back of the red card panel. I added pieces of foam tape onto the panel and then adhered it to the card base.
The envelope was created using We R Memory Keepers Envelop Punch Board.
I used Right At Home Sending Love stamp set to stamp my sentiments on the envelope.

CASology 170 – Hearts

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card just for you!!

This week’s cue card is :

Take a look at my card:

Some times our hearts make things so complicated!! I love this stamp set from So Suzy Stamps. It’s totally perfect for this challenge!! Once stamp set that says everything and it keeps my card CAS!!

To create this card all I did was stamp the heart part of the image in Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink and the sentiment part in My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.

Super easy!

I have to admit, this wasn’t my first card. I made my card and as I was putting my post together I realized our sponsor this week is So Suzy Stamps so I had to change my entry card!! I have so many So Suzy Stamps that I had to use one of her sets for this challenge.

Take a look at my original card:

This card was super easy to create too. All I did was blend Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Spun Sugar in the center of my card. A nice even layer.

Then I used a rub on to add my heart wreath and sentiment. Nothing more nothing less. Since and clean and simple.

CASology 158 – Precious

Hello everyone!! It’s CASology Tuesday!! We are back with another Cue Card for you!!!

This week’s cue card is super simple!!

Take a look at my card:

When I thought of the word “precious” I thought of cute and cuddly. I went straight for WPlus9 Bubble Talk. I’ve had this set since its release but have never used it! So why not use it today!

Creating this card was easy. Here’s how:

I used My Favorite Things Blueprints 14 to cut two pieces of cardstock to form my card base. I scored the back piece of cardstock a half and inch from the top to create a crease for the card to open. I adhered the two pieces of cardstock with adhesive.

I stamped the elephant and balloon with My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink. I colored both with Copic markers: R29, C3, C5, O. I used the ) Copic to create the texture on my baby elephant. After coloring the balloon, I stamped the sentiment and the small hearts with the same ink.

Super doper easy.

Top Dog Dies – True Love

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with Top Dog Dies and a new elephant die that is totally adorable.

A big elephant, small elephant, a heart, balloon and flower! Great set.

Take a look at the card I created using this set:

True love between a mother and her child is an amazing feeling. That is what these two elephants have with one another.

Those hearts are from my watercolor piece that I used the other day. I loved this paper I used it on all of my cards this week. LOL!!

All I did was die cute my elephants from fog cardstock and the hearts out of my watercolor piece. I adhered them to the front of my cards. I stamped my sentiment and that’s it!!

CASology 133 – Love

Hello everyone!! Its that time of the week again!! CASology time!!

The cue card word this week is so fitting since Valentine’s Day is this Saturday. Can you guess the word is this week?

Take a look:

What is love!! When I was a kid there used to be a comic in the LA Times called Love Is….. totally my favorite comic. I used to clip the comic everyday. I’m not even sure why we received the LA Times, I lived in Brooklyn.

When I saw the word “Love”, my thoughts went straight to this comic! So I wanted to sure one with all of you.

These are the cutest comics ever. That heart made me smile so I decided that I wanted hearts on my card.

Remember my watercolor panel I created a couple of days ago? I punched a couple more hearts out of it to used on this card.

Take a look at my card:

I love how this card turned out. The idea came from Laura Bassen, she used her sewing machine to attached her hearts to the card panel. I didn’t think my needle would go through the paper so I used glue to hold them in place.

Lets take a closer look at those hearts:

Can you see the gold shimmer on that heart that’s in focus? I love how that turned out.

Beautiful watercolor

I stacked those hearts in threes and pinched them so that they are raised.

I love how the sentiment nestles right up to the hearts! Are you wondering what my card says?

Saranghaeyo means I Love You in Korean. The stamp set is Waffle Flower Craft DT Mix Stamp Set.
