Mutli-Stamping for the Right At Home Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!  I’m excited to be here with you today to sharing an amazing multi-stamping project created for the Right At Home April Release Blog Hop!!  The design team are delight to full you with inspiration.

july-release

This month Nicole released four clear stamp sets and one background stamp! Super cute all around! For this released I used Right at Home Stamps Banner Alphabet and Banner Alphabet Add-On.  I also used Right At Home very first stamp set Happy Mail.

If you arrived here from Joan’s blog, you are on the right path!!  If you arrived on your own, you will want to start from the beginning, the Right At Home blog as to not miss out on any of the fun.

Take a look at my postcard:

handmade postcard

While looking at the stamp sets, I wonder what could I do differently with these stamps.  It hit me that I could create postcards where the image and message is on the front of the card.

Check out how I created these easy to create postcards:

I started with the banner string.  I used the Mini Misti to do all of my stamping so that I could create more then one postcard at a time. I stamped the string with Versafine Black Ink.

Multi-stamping banner (RAH)

Then I lined the banner stamps on the stamped line so that they are perfectly placed for easy stamping with the Mini Misti.

I left a space for the second “L”.

Line up the pennent stamps (RAH

Using Clearsnap Colorbox Bluebells, I stamped the banner letters on each of the postcards.

I also placed the second sentiment on the bottom of the postcards so that I can stamp both sentiments at the same time.

Stamping the banner stams (RAH)

Then I lined the second L up on the banner line.  Using the Mini Misti to get the L in the right place on all of the postcards.

Stamping second L stamp (RAH)

Take al look at one of the finished cards with my handwriting on it.

Postcard Message (RAH)

This one is going out to Nicole the young lady behind these stamps!!

So this one layer postcard is super easy to create but even easier with a Mini Misti!!

So what do you think? Please let me know below.

If you’ve been hopping along, you would have arrived from Lisa’s blog and if you’d like to start from the beginning, head on over to the CardMaker’s blog.

I was challenged to use Clearsnap Chalk Ink to create a project.  So, I decided to show you how to achieve an Ombre effect using Clearsnap Chalk Ink.  I love this affect because it shows a gradual light to dark color that is so super easy to achieve.

Colorbox ink and stamp

Supplies used:

Lets get started:

Use the lightest pink to ink up the stamp.

Stamp the image to the bottom left corner of the white card base.

Adding the first ink

Then re-ink the stamp with the first color and the middle pink color towards the tail.

Stamp the inked stamp to the right of the first stamped image.

adding the second ink

Then ink up the stamp one more time in the solid darker pink color and stamp the image on the cardstock.

Take a look at all three of the stamped images from dark to light.

stamped images

Stamp your sentiment using Clearsnap Archival Ink in Wicked Black and sprinkle clear embossing powder on top.  Heat set the sentiment for a glossy look.

Take a look at my finished card:

Right At Home April Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!  I’m excited to be here with you today to sharing an amazing project created for the Right At Home April Release Blog Hop!!  This is the design team fourth blog hop and we are delight to full you with inspiration.

april-release-graphic

This month all four of the stamp sets are perfect!!  I used Right at Home Stamps Birdhouse and the Color In Sentiments stamp sets for this release.

If you arrived here from Yuki blog, you are on the right path!!  If you arrived on your own, you will want to start from the beginning, the Right At Home blog as to not miss out on any of the fun.

Take a look at card 1:

I'm always here (RAH)

I used my Canon ScanNCut to cut out the stamped images.  Once they were cut out I colored them with the Tombow Recycled Colored Pencil.

The card base is Neenah Desert Storm card stock and the card panel is Simon Says Stamp Woodgrain cardstock.

I adhered the pieces to the card panel after stamping the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Ink.

I added RAH Marigold Flower Sequins, Daffodil Flower and Hydrangea Flower Sequins to the card front to finish it off.

What do you think?

Take a look at card 2:

Pop of color (RAH)

For this card, I used the Right at Home Stamps Color In Sentiments stamp.

The card panel was cut using Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge Frame Dies.

I stamped the sentiment on the white card panel using My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.

I used the Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils to color the image in.

I added Your Next Stamp Give Thanks for Sparkly Gumdrops above and below the sentiment.

Nice and easy.

The Ton Spring 2016 Blog Hop

Second Post for today
If your looking for CS Take It Make It Inspiration Post, click here

Hello everyone!!  I’m super excited today.  I was asked to participate in The Ton’s Spring 2016 Release Blog Hop!!!  Yayyyyyy!!

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 7.04.16 AM

I was totally siked when Effie reached out to me and asked if I would like to hop along with her team.  I jumped at the opportunity to work with her fabulous team.

Enough about my excitement, lets get started on this hop!! If you arrived here from the talented Eunji blog then you are on the right track.  If you arrived here on your own, you will want to start at the beginning, The Ton blog, as to not miss any of the amazing projects!

I’ve created two cards for this awesome hop.

Card Number One:

Happy Birthday (ton outside)

When I first saw this Bokeh Burs Star stamp set, I fell in love.  Such a pretty stamp set with so many things that you can do with it.

I knew it would look super pretty embossed with some distress inks blended on top.

Here is how this card was created:

  1. Stamp the image using Versamark ink in the center of the Recollection White Heavyweight cardstock.
  2. Apply Hero Arts White Embossing Powder on top of the stamp image and heat set. This will resist the ink that will be added on top.
  3. Lay your card flat on your table and start applying your first distress ink Mustard Seed.  Tap off before you apply your first coating of ink.
  4. Then blend the next color, Spiced Marmalade, to create a pretty blend between the two colors.
  5. Next blend the last color, Festive Berries, to create a contrast between the other colors.  Together all three of them are amazing.
  6. Make sure you cover all of the white embossing powder with the distress ink so that everything pops.
  7. Now you can stamp the sentiment in the center of the star using Versafine Ink for a clear, crisp impression.
  8. To finish the front of the card off, add several Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequin randomly.

I hardly ever stamp the inside of my cards.  I decided that this card would totally rock, with a sentiment on the inside.

Happy Birthday (ton inside)

Use Versafine ink again to stamp the sentiment for a crisp, clear impression.

What do you think?  Isn’t this set fabulous!! I think so!!

Card Number Two:

hello (ton)

Isn’t this just fabulous!!  This stamp set is called Brushed Hello.  I love everything about this card.  From the background to the “HELLO” sentiment. Everything about this card screams BOLD!!!  I love it.

Here is how to create this card:

  1. Tape down the Clarity Stencil to the cardstock so that it lays flush over the paper.
  2. Select two-three colors to blend.  The colors used above Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon.
  3. Use the Clarity Stencil Brushes to blend the colors over the stencil.
  4. Check out the video below on how I achieved that look. Its a 5 minute video from start to finish in real time.
  1. Trim the blended cardstock down to the desired size.
  2. Stamp the Hello sentiment from the Brushed Hello stamp set using Versafine Black Ink. Then stamp another sentiment if you like.
  3. Add rhinestones to finish the card front off.
  4. Adhere the card front to your cardbase using Tombow Stamp Runner Adhesive.

Finished!!  What do you think?  I love both cards using both of these stamp sets.  Such a great way to bring in Spring!!

Let me know what you think below!!  I would love to hear from you.

Your next stop on this hop is the super talented Mayline!!  You will want to see what she has come up with.

National Craft Month Celebration Blog Hop

national-craft-month-banner

Happy National Craft Month!!  Isn’t this amazing that we have a whole month dedicated to what we love to do, which is creating beautiful things!!

I’ve been super busy this month crafting like crazy.  I’ve never been so busy in all of my years of crafting.  I have to admit, I love it!!  I’m highly stressed but my best work comes to me in times like this.

Right at Home has decided that we would celebrate this amazing month with an amazing blog hop!!

The design team was challenged to create a project using our favorite products and share that with all of you!!

I thought this was a fabulous idea.  The only thing is, how do I pick what my favorite product out of all of the goodies I own.  LOL!!

Take a look at my card and see if you can guess what my favorite things are:

Blessed (RAH)

Can you see what I see?  Oh baby, I’m in love!!

Lets take a closer look:

Blessed close up (RAH)

Can you see all of that foiled goodness now?  OMG, I love it!!  So now you know one of my favorite products, Thermoweb Deco Foil, any color. The other is Right At Home Scripted Greetings Stamp Set.  My signature style is Clean and Simple.

This card looks amazing in person.  You can move it back an forth and see all of the different colors.

I’m also a lover of sequin .  I didn’t add them to this card because it would over do it and take away from the beautiful foil.

So you want to know how I create this card:

I cut Heidi Swapp Minc Signature Paper to 4.5 by 5.50.

Then I cut Themoweb Deco Foil Rainbow to fit on the front of the water card panel.

I ran it thought my laminator to transfer the foil on to the paper.  Since the stars contain toner, the foil stuck to the stars.

After that I  stamped the sentiment using the Mini Misti and Versafine Black Onyx ink.  I stamped twice so that the sentiment would stand out from the stars.

I sprinkled Stampin’ Up! Clear Embossing powder over the sentiment, since the ink takes a while to dry, adding the embossing powder will give the sentiment an extra kick.

That’s my card!!  What do you think?  What is your favorite product? Please let me know below.

Now for the hop!!  You have to hop along leaving a comment on each of the blogs participating in order to win a prize.   More details on the prize, had back to Right At Home Blog.

Next up is fabulous Yuki!! Her projects are always amazing.  I can’t wait to see what she created!!

Once again, Happy National Craft Month!!

CASEing Kelly Blog Hop!!

CASEing Kelly Blog Hop BannerHello everyone!!  I’m here today with a group of talented ladies who wanted to say “Thank You” to Kelly Latevola for all of her generosity and kindheartedness!! We thought a Blog Hop would be an awesome way for everyone to say good bye and send her best wishes as she parts ways with some of the amazing Design Teams she was on.

If you arrived from Kristina Beagle blog, your on the right path.  If this is your first stop, there is a complete list at the end of this post so that you could start from the beginning and not miss out on any of the fun.

The best way to send her off, would be to CASE her!!!  LOL!!  Yes, my dear teammate, Kelly, we are CASEing YOU!!

For those of you who don’t know Kelly, she has a CASEing Genius feature on her blog.  She always takes THREE cards from the designer she is CASEing, and makes ONE card inspired by those three cards.

Take a look at the three cards that I used:

DSCN0076

I love how Kelly raised the flower by added those square panels.  So pretty and dimensional.

DSCN2241

I love the colors Kelly used on these flowers.  I also love how she tried colors she wasn’t use to using.

DSCN9598

I love how Kelly’s image was placed to one side of the card.  It keeps her card CAS, which is my style of designing.

The CASE:

Be Happy (CASE)

I used the green color from card number 2 to color my leaves.  I totally love this color combo (YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67).  Thanks Kelly.  I position my images the left side of my card stock like her card 3.  I used my Brother Scan and Cut and cut out addition leaves so that I could lift some of my leaves to mimic Kelly’s raised panel on card 1!!

Take a closer look:

Be Happy close up (CASE)

I totally loved this challenge.  It was a challenging but well worth it!!  I had fun trying to come up with a card that suited my CAS style.

Thanks Kelly, for being a great teammate over on the a2z Scrapbooking blog. I love watching your periscopes as well.

Lets take a look at my card that I created for this hop:

Awesome Coffee

For those of you who follow me know that I have this new found love of shaker cards.  I couldn’t help myself to create one for this hop!!

Here is how I created this card:

1. I cut my Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to an A2 size card (4.25 x 5.50).

2 I stamped My Favorite Things BG Pinstripe Background using Simon Says Stamp Khaki Stamp pad unto the card base.

3. I cut my card panel out of  Neenah Solar White cardstock to a size smaller then the card base.

4. I centered the largest Simon Says Stamp Circle Stitch Die in the middle of the white card panel and die cut it out.

5. I used my We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool to create my shaker pocket.

(To see how I did that check out this post.)

6.I added Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Metallic Bronze to the shaker pocket and then I used the Fuse Tool to seal it close.

7. I attached the shaker pocket to the back of the card panel with tape.

8. I added foam adhesive to the card panel to pop it off of the card base.

9. I die cut my coffee cup, lid, wrapper and heart.

10. I put the coffee cup together and adhered it to the front of the shaker circle.

11. I stamped a sentiment using Lil inker designs Seriously Awesome Stamp on the front of my card panel.

13. I added some of the same sequin to the front of the card.

That’s my card!!  So what do you think? I would love to here from you!

Take a look at my card:

Hello There Shaker

I love making shaker cards but in the past they use to be so cumbersome with the foam tape and all.  Now that I have the We R Memory Tool Fuse, making shaker cards are a breeze!!  No bulk and no foam tape.

Thank you Jennifer McGuire for this amazing tip!!

You want to know how I created this?

Here you go:

1. I trimmed my card panel slightly smaller then my card base.

2. I used Top Dog Dies Heart Doily Die to cut a heart in the center of my card panel.

3. I used the negative and saved the heart shape for another card.

4. To create my shaker pocket, I used the heart die and placed it on my plastic window sheet.

heart fuse 1

5. I used the fuse tool and traced around the outside of the die to seal the plastic together, leaving a small portion open to add the sequin.

heart fuse 2

6. I add Lucy Adams Phosphorescence sequin from Lucy’s Card Little Things Collection to my shaker pocket.

heart fuse 4

7. I lined up the heart die with the shaker pocket and used the fuse to close up the hole in my shaker pocket.

heart fuse 5

8. I trimmed off the excess plastic around the heart.

9. I die cut my Studio Calico pattern paper, which is the NYC skyline, with the same heart die and adhered it the card base.

10. I used Mama Elephant Good Times Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment with My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink.

12. I adhered the shaker pocket to the back of the card panel with adhesive.

13. I wanted the card panel to lift off of the card base so I added Stampin’ Up! Dimensionals and adhered the card panel the card base.

Super easy to create!!  This has to be my all time favorite card to make now that its so easy.

a2z Scrapbooking Birthday Blog Hop Bash

a2z Birthday

Hello everyone, and welcome to a2z Scrapbooking Birthday Blog Hop Bash!!! You should be arriving from the fabulous Kristina’s blog . If this is your first stop you’ll want to begin at a2z Scrapbooking blog so you don’t miss out on any of the fun and beautiful creations we are sharing today.

I’m super excited to share my card with you today.  I’m bursting out of the seams with excitement.  You want to know why?  Well, check it out:

(Photographing this technique was a bit of a challenge because when I stood the card up the foil looked black so I had to lie it down.)

Happy birthday foilHappy Birthday foil 2 Happy Birthday Foil 3

Yes, Foiling!!!  I did some foiling!!  It was super easy after I got the hang of it!!  I messed up a couple of pieces of cardstock but what is perfection without errors!!!!

My first mistake was putting the foil on my image upside down.  LOL!!!  I ran it throught the laminator a bunch of times and couldn’t figure out what to do.  Then it dawn on me to turn the up face side up!!

Magic!!!  I ran it thought the laminator a couple of times to make sure I was doing it right and BAM!!!  It was!!

Now I need every color they own.  Especially since I bought a laser printer and laminator just for this technique!! Don’t judge me!!!!  I’m addicted to crafts.

So how did I create my card:

1. I printed my Hero Arts Special Birthday Digital image and sentiment from my new Brother Laser Printer. There is a newer model to this printer but I didn’t need up to date since I will just use it to foil.

2. I cut my Deco Foil sheet to fit the size of my sentiment and image.  I place each piece on top of the sentiment and images, gold side up and ran it through my Royal Sovereign 9-inch Laminator. I used regular printer paper to run my cardstock through the laminator.

Note: a2z Scrapbooking will carry the Heidi Swapp Foil which has gold and silver on one sheet!

3.  I attached my foil cardstock to my black card base and that was it!!

Super duper easy.  What do you think?  Will you try foiling now?

Now your next stop will be the talented Lisa from the Purple Place but before you go let me tell you about our GIVEAWAY!!!

What is a blog hop without a giveaway??
