I miss you….

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today with Less Is More!!

Less-Is-More-Header

Their theme is week is CASE A DT CARD!

Yes, you read the right!!  We get to case one of the DT cards this week.

I choose Anne card!!  The reason I did that is because I just received my new Mama Elephant Three Amigos Stamp Set and I wanted so much to use it.  Anne card is perfect for it!!

Take a look at Anne’s card:

Card33I love how she kept her card with one stamped image and some doodling along the edge of the card.  Easy Peasy!

Did I hit it on the nail or what!!  I love how my card turned out.

Here is how I created this card:

1. I cut my cardstock to an A2 size card, 4.5 x 5.5.

2. I stamped my image from Mama Elephants Three Amigos.  I love this stamp set.  These little guys are so cute.

3. I used Copic Markers to color this little guy in.

Body: E31 and E35

Paper: B000 and BG02

Shadow: W1

4. I used my Copic multiliner 0.3 to draw the squally line around my card.

5. I tied Stampin’ Up! Basic Black Baker’s Twine around the top of my card.

I thought about adding some embellishments but decided against it.  The card looks great with out them.

I miss you 2

So what do you think?  Do I have a chance to win?  We will see.  Either way, I love how this card turned out.

This is also for Kathy’s #thedailymarker30day coloring challenge.  She has really allowed me to practice my coloring and I believe I’m getting better because of it. I can’t believe we only have 4 more days before it ends.  It feel like yesterday it started.

I’m also entering AAA Cards bare naked CAS design challenge this week.

Hello everyone!!  I’m back with another challenge that I haven’t played with in a very long time.

The Less is More Challenge is celebrating their 4th Year!  How exciting is this!!  I’m so glad I get to play along with them this week.

This week is a color challenge and the color are Pink and Grey!

I love these colors.  My high school uniform was pink and grey and I loved wearing it!!  The colors just matched perfectly. LOL!!!

Take a look at my card:

Love

OMG!!  Isn’t that little baby elephant the cutest animal you’ve seen!!!  I love it!!

Here’s how I created this card:

1. I cut Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock to an A2 size(4.25 x 5.50) top folding card.

2. I cut a flower using Waffle Flower Craft Flower Circles Die Set out of Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy cardstock and some scrap white card stock for depth.

3. I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles Wafer Die to cut a circle out of Authentique Classique: Pretty Pattern paper.

4. I cut my baby elephant from Top Dog Dies Elephants Die Set out of fog cardstock and the little heart out of the cotton candy cardstock.

5.  Now its time to put the card together. I adhered the stitched circle to the card base first. Then I attached the flower die.  Then I adhered the elephant and heart inside the flower circle. I used foam adhesive.

6. I added the love sentiment from Crate Paper Kiss Kiss Rub Ons.

7. I adhered Stampin’ Up! rhinestone to both sides of the sentiment.

That’s it!!  I think this card is so cute!!  What do you think?  Let me know.

I’m also linking up to AAA Card Challenge.  The theme is Love.  I’m super happy that I get to play along with them this time.

First for me…….

Hello everyone!!  I’m here today playing along with AAA Cards Challenge and the Muse Challenge #79.

I wanted to take this time to say Thank you so much to the ladies over at the Muse Challenge for choosing my card for Honorable Mention.  I really appreciate it. If you missed the card you can find it here.

Now on to this week’s challenges.  I had a lot of fun creating my project for these challenges.

AAAcardGame14

Muse VD

Both of these challenges used Water-coloring, which happens to be my favorite.  I decided to do something a little different then what your use to seeing.

I created a TAG!!!  Yes, a tag and its not on a card.  This was a bit of a challenge because my working area was smaller then a normal card size.  I wasn’t sure if I needed to fill all of the space or should I leave some empty areas.  It took me one hour to decided just on that.  LOL!!!

Take a look at my TAG:

Watercolor Thanks

To create this tag:

I used a piece of watercolor paper and my Koi watercolors to create my background.

I cut my tag using Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 1 Dies.

I cut my thank sentiment using Simon Says Stamps Thanks Die out of Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock 4 times from some dimension.

I used my Stampin’ Up! Bitty Butterfly Punch and Elegant Butterfly punch to punch out four butterflies, 2 from my scrap watercolor piece and 2 from Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock.

I added My Mind’s Eye White Enamel Dots to the center of the butterfly for detail and more contrast.

I punched a hole in the top of my tag using Stampin’ Up! 1/8″ Circle Handheld Punch.

I added 2 pieces of retired Stampin’  Up! ribbon and tied it with Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Bakers Twine.

Thats all!  Very easy and fun to do!! I hope you give it a try.  I will be making more tags from now on.

Watercolor Love You

Hello everyone!  I’m back again with AAA Cards Game #10 Watercolor techniques and Virginia’s View Challenge #5.

AAAcardGame10

V. V. Challenge #5 (2)

Take a look at my card:

Watercolor Love you

I used Simon Says Stamp Mosaic Heart Stencil and Distress Inks Pack 1 to create my beautiful heart on watercolor paper.

Watercolor Love You close up

I used Simon Says Stamp Big You die to cut out 4 “you” dies out of basic black cardstock and stacked them together to add dimension.

I choose to use black cardstock so that the “you” would pop against the bright watercolor heart. I used clear foam tape to adhere the “you’ to my card.  I love this tape because you will never see the tape behind your project.  Thank you Jennifer McGuire for that one.

I love how it turned out.  I went to my brother and asked him to tell me what the card said and he nailed it on the first try.

So, I’m confident you will see that my card says I Love You!

Let me know what you think.  I would love to get feedback.

I created a card like this in the past, when I was taking my Online Card Class on Water-coloring.  It was fun so I decided to do it again with different colors, die, and sentiment.  You can see my original card here.

To create the watercolor dots, I used a new pencil eraser to transfer the ink from the pad to the paper.

Then I die cut the butterfly over the dots.  I only placed the cutting plates over the wing section of the butterfly.  That way the body of the butterfly will stay in tack.

I stamped the sentiment and added some heart enamel dots.

Can you say pretty!!!  I can!!!  Creating this card was very easy and everyone should try water-coloring and partial die cutting.

So what do you think?  Please leave a comment letting me know if you like my card creation today.
