Hello everyone!  I’m here today with CS Take It Make It Design Team for our CS Take It Make It: Take a Stamp Challenge for the month of September.

This month’s theme is Take a Stamp!!  That means take any stamp and create something, anything goes!! Now if that isn’t easy, I’m not sure what is!!

Take a look at my card:

Sending Warm Wishes (TIMI)

I love how my little tree turned out!!  I love the look of all of those fall colors.  I’m a Summer girl but Fall sure is pretty too.

Here is how I created this card:

I used Lawn Fawn Small Stitch Square Stackables to die cut my stitched square panel.

I used Hero Arts Color Layering Fall Trees Stamp Set and layered stamped my leaves.  I used Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass, Lobster, Fake Tan and Walnut.

I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped it with the Walnut ink.

I added Lawn Fawn Trimming around the card panel.

I attached the card panel to an orange panel then added those panels to my card base.

I added Lucy Abrams Just Peachy and Rainforest Sparkly Shaker Sequin to the card front.

I love how this turned out!!  Now its your turn to play along with us!!!

We have two prizes to offer this month, the first is our sponsor prize. This winner will be chosen randomly from all of the entries in the challenge! The sponsor for July is: STAMPlorations!

Thanks So Much!

Hello everyone!! I’m here today with Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge.

This week Lexi showed us how to create a white on white die cut card with a pop of color.  Totally love this idea.

Take a look at my card:

Thanks so much

Isn’t this apple die cut the cutest!!  I love their new Apple Die with the Apple Mini Stamp Set.

I simple die cut the apples and then die cut the thanks with Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse cardstock.

After die cutting the “thanks”, I carefully cut the sentiment away from the apple.  I adhered the thanks and the apple outline with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.

I stamped the sentiment with My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Licorice Ink.

I adhered my apple to the card base with foam tape.

Super easy and totally fun.  I love these stamp and die set.  I can’t wait to play again.

I took another photo with a different background, playing around with my new Foldio in the middle of the night.

Thanks so much 3

So what do you think?  Let me know below.

Creative Shot Love 2

Aren’t these letter the cutest!!  I love the fancy look of each letter.

Creative Shot Love 1

I was going to leave just the letters on the card but at the last minute decided to add a stamped you for more interest.

I’m so glad I made that decision.

Here is how I created this card:

1. I cut my card base from Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red cardstock to an A4 (4.25 x 5.50) size card scored at 4.25.

2. I cut my Neenah Solar White cardstock panel to 4 x 5.25.

3. I attached the white panel to the red card base with some regular adhesive.

4. I cut a 1.5 “strip of the red cardstock and then cut 1.5 squares.

5. I used my corner chomper to round two of the corners.

6. I die cut my letters out of the white cardstock and adhered them to the red square.

7. I adhered the squares to the front of my card panel.

8. I stamp the you sentiment from Mama Elephant Cross My Heart Stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

That’s it!!  Very easy card to create again and again using different words.

I would love to see what you come up with using this die set!!

Take a look at all of those dots.  I love how the red glitter paper shines from behind.

This is how this card was created:

1. I cut my card base to an A2 size card, 4.24 x 5.50.

2. I used Memory Box Small Circle Burst die to cut out all of my dots and circle.

3.  I cut a small piece of red glitter paper from American Crafts to go behind the dots and circle.

4. I used my new Simon Says Stamp Sparkle & Shine stamp set to stamp my sentiment with the Mini Distress Embossing Ink from the card kit.

5. I used Liquid Platinum embossing powder on the stamped sentiment.

I have to say I truly love this liquid platinum embossing powder.  It so smooth and pretty.  I am truly impressed.  This is must have in my craft room from now on.

6. To finish my card, I tied a bow with Silver ??? and rounded two of the corners with my corner chomper.

Red, White and Blue…

Hello everyone! I’m here today with a Papertrey Ink Make it Monday #169: Vellum Overlays.  I’m so late in posting this card.  I couldn’t decide what I wanted to create for this challenge.

So, I picked the colors that I wanted to work with first.  Since July 4 is this Friday, I decided to go with red, white and blue.  Once I knew that, I saw it fitting to use PTI’s Cover Plate: Stars Die.

After figuring all of that out, I needed to see how my vellum piece would look attached to my card.  Once I added it, I realized I didn’t have a sentiment on my card.  That’s when it hit me that I should add the sentiment to the vellum and in silver for an extra pop.

Yes, that turned out neatly!

Take a look at my card:

Time to Celebrate top

Time to celebrate

I attached my vellum with two bronze brads.  I must me honest, when I decided to add brads, I knew for sure I had silver ones.  Well, I such everywhere and I could not find them.  So, I decided to us the bronze brads and I like it.

What do you think?  Don’t be afraid to let me know, good or bad.
